About WBHS

Our Mission

The Winter Beach Historical Society’s mission is to preserve, promote and protect the historical significance of the unincorporated community of Winter Beach. Our goal is to gather documents and educate those interested in learning about the early pioneers of Indian River County.
The Winter Beach Historical Society, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) organization.

Membership

The Winter Beach Historical Society welcomes anyone interested in the local history of the Winter Beach, Woodley, and Quay area. Our memberships run on an annual basis, from January 1 to December 31.

Membership Dues:

  • Join January through June: $50
  • Join July through December: $25

Meetings

Winter Beach Historical Society meetings take place on the 1st Monday of every month at 1:30pm, at New Hope Ministries, 4425 71st Street, Vero Beach, FL 32967

Society Formation

The Winter Beach Historical Society, Inc. was formed July 11, 2018. A group of pioneer descendants started meeting in the early part of 2017.
